Review
Phantasia 2 is an arcade game from 300AD and a sequel to Phantasia. The game's story continues where the other left off. After the dwarves were rescued, they were all jolly and happy in the forest. However, the evil wizard plotted his revenge, summoning a demon that recaptured most of the dwarves and even the spirit of the forest. The ones that were left free searched for the long-lost hero of the first game: you.
The game has the same quality and presentation as the first one, which is great. However, it has three gameplay modes: Classic Bubble mode, in which you can shoot the bubbles from a fixed point; Phantasia Mode, which is the same as in the first game; and also ArcaMania mode, which combines the bubble formula with the breakout formula.
You have a bubble bouncing around the other spheres. Once it touches one with a different color, it will change to that color. You can have many balls and power ups as well. And this is the kind of new formula that Phantasia needed. There is really no reason to get the first one because this sequel has it all, and even the innovative part. |
